Created to make my signature extra-wide bias hem simple to sew, the Dora Signature Panel includes four perfectly laid-out extra-wide bias strips, ready to cut. Seam allowances are built into the print, so when the strips are joined and sewn into place, the printed motif remains uninterrupted for a beautifully finished result.
And it’s not just about the bias strips. The spaces around them are filled with coordinating all-over prints, giving you plenty of matching fabric to play with — think pocket linings, facings, covered buttons, Hong Kong seam finishes and all those little details that make a handmade garment feel extra special.

Dora Signature Panel
One purpose-designed printed fabric panel approximately 50 × 100 cm (19¾ × 39⅜”).

Overlocked outer edges, ready for pre-washing
Please calculate the total hem length for your project and allow an additional 10–15 cm (4–6”) for joining and finishing. When joined, the strips provide approximately 2.75 m (108”) of continuous usable bias binding
Pre-washing your fabric before cutting helps take care of any initial shrinkage, so your finished garment keeps its shape after future washes. Your panel arrives with the outer edges already finished to minimise fraying in the wash, so this preparation has been done for you — simply machine wash the whole panel at 30°C (86°F) with similar colours before cutting it apart. The finished outer edges also help reduce fraying while you handle and work with the panel, so it's best to leave them in place until you need to cut into that part of the panel.
For easier handling, I heartily recommend lightly starching the panel while it is still damp after washing, then allowing it to dry and giving it a quick press before cutting. This gives the fabric a little extra stability and makes the long bias strips and smaller pieces easier to cut and sew accurately.
You can use ordinary laundry spray starch, or a simple homemade cornflour-and-water starch. To make your own, mix 1 teaspoon of cornflour with 250 ml (1 cup) of cold water until smooth. Pour into a spray bottle, shake well and lightly mist the fabric. Make fresh as needed and discard any leftover mixture.
Allow the panel to dry, then give it a quick press on the reverse with low heat before cutting.

You can tell us that you wish to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it. After notifying us, you have a further 14 days to return the item.
Unless the item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, you are responsible for the cost of returning it. Please contact us before returning an item so we can provide the appropriate return instructions.
Please take reasonable care of the item. We may make a deduction from your refund if its value has been reduced by handling beyond what would reasonably be necessary to inspect it.
Damaged, faulty or incorrect order?
Please email studio@sheworeitagain.com with your order number, a description of the issue and, where helpful, clear photographs of the item and its packaging. Your statutory rights are not affected.
If an item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, you will not be responsible for reasonable return postage costs. Please contact us before returning the item so we can provide return instructions.
Where a refund is due following cancellation, we will refund the product price and, where required by law, the cost of our standard outbound delivery. Refunds will normally be made to your original payment method.
